“I want you to remember…..”
“Remember what???” I said to him. He looked at the sky for a moment. Then he turned to me and said,
“I want you to always remember how much I love you. To think about all the fun we had last summer on the trip to the mountains. Remember how I made you laugh when you were crying. I said some crazy things when I thought I was going to lose you forever. And when I didn’t, you laughed and said, “Never!” I want you to remember when I stayed with you after Mindy left. And how I did my very best. Remember me saying no matter what happens, you’ll always have me. I’ll be here when you’re hurt, crying, sick, or dying. With all that we’ve been through, I’ve got to know the truth. Just promise that you’ll always remember ME!!!
