The book “The Vampire Diaries”, By L.J. Smith, is definitely a page turner. The main characters are Elena, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, and Meredith all of these people are very involved in the story. The novel is about a mysterious love triangle between a human and two vampires, which leads into several mysteries involving lots of characters and a missing diary which has all of her secrets, which include saying that Stefan and Damon are both vampires which no one else knows. This book has you on the edge of your seat from the start! It has lots of details, and it makes you feel like you are in the story! You can't even compare the books to the T.V. Show, although I absolutely love both series. I definitely want to see more of L.J. Smith's work, and I definitely give this book 5 stars.
