The Next Episode Will Start in 9 Seconds...

Only until the buffer has ended.
A new episode is yet to begin.
I contemplate giving into my sin.
But in the now that has been suspended,
Doing assignments, I have pretended.
I count up all the things that could have been.
While procrastination creeps on my skin,
And all the homework that was intended.
But I’m overtaken by desire,
And have decidedly lost all control.
By this obsession, I’m lit on fire.
I can’t escape this enticing sinkhole.
From this battle I have to retire,
Another episode eats at my soul.
