Incomplete Graffiti This work is considered exceptional by our editorial staff.

I stop on the corner of every street

I smell you in my backyard trees and round

the halls of that empty place we would meet

I see your face on every bilboard around

the wind cries your name and the rain does too             5

your complexion in every graffiti place

you contrast everything that I knew

your face reminds me of pain and of grace

you are in the air haunting me today

you are everything that I see around me                      10

but still I don't know you at all really

you are never fully here for just me

Nice job sonnet-ing — that's not easy, but you've got the iambic pentameter down :)
