How We Met
February 23, 2017
Their hands aligned fit together like a glove;
Neither of them had a loved one.
Looks exchanged with a foreign idea of love,
wanting to be more than friends in the long-run
Many scoffed with words of doubt
But their hate did little to hurt.
We took time, and our love did sprout.
Even if it was only causal flirt.
And on the day of our first date
I could hardly believe my luck
It had to be more than just fate
You showed up that day lovestruck
And like they say, love at first sight-
You have always brought me such delight.
