Completely Numb

A part of me breaking,
Losing warmth of life,
I isolate myself with silence,
Feeling empty and numb,
A part of me has died,
Pieces of soul ripped out,
Yet no tears shall fall,
There is nothing to feel,
my own body like a shell,
Part of me has been destroyed,
It is seemingly unrepairable,
Seated alone in the dark,
The door is locked and barred,
I crave only peaceful solitude,
Jabbed at and vexed incessantly,
Part of myself is gone,
It has been taken away,
Cruel and unexpected,
While I vacantly accept it.
