Meeting a Silhouette

She was surrounded by glitter and glue
Unfortunately, bright nail polish, too
We had just met and been caught in a net
However, we had stopped caring what’s next
Quick, She threw her head back laughing like heck
Wild, dark hair whipping, pleased as can be
Regardless, her chocolate-brown eyes deceived
Saw sadness thicker than the blues, I muse
Hurt too much to bear, she tried not to care
She lived in a lair, where no one could stare
Liv was her name and she was half-insane
She played games, but never ones that would maim
We somewhat changed, but more remained the same
It was pure and the cure, I do conjure
