Favorite Quote:
(1) WITHIN YOU, I LOSE MYSELF. WITHOUT YOU, I FIND MYSELF WANTING TO BE LOST AGAIN.
(2) YEAH, BEING APATHETIC IS A PATHETIC WAY TO BE, BUT WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, DOES NOT MATTER TO ME

Our boat full of dreams
Crossed the bay agleam
While waving my handkerchief he left me at noon
Promising as I sat by the shore that he'll be back soon.

But stayed our boat lost in the seas
That once easily swayed with the gentle breeze
And you sailor of lights, warrior of silver waves
Forgot that I moon simply without you am not save

For within you lies my last embrace
My head sane, my laughs and years
So your name on the sand written by tears
The tides are commissioned to erase for space

When my sight reaches the horizon
Rejoicing that our boat again is near.

New York City is currently freezing, as a result, I wrote this poem with the beach in mind hoping for some warmth. I was inspired by loss and gain and by the stories about sailors.
