"She was beautiful, in the quiet way that lonely, unnoticed people are beautiful to those who notice them" -Jedediah Berry

I'm guilt-ridden since we can't start anew,
I wasn't someone you could rely on
But there is one thing I can promise you:
I will never weep, for you are not gone.

You are a puzzle, whose pieces are lost;
Wishing to be reassembled wholly.
I will be searching, through rain, sun or frost,
For symbols of your existence daily.

The radiant pearls reflect your smile,
The sun’s warm rays embrace me in your place,
The wind speaks in your gentle, soothing style,
The night stars twinkle like your eyes with grace.

You need not a gold plaque or statue;
The earth lives in remembrance of you.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams-Eleanor Roosevelt

I loved all the imagery in the poem, especially in the second to the last paragraph.  The last two lines are really strong.  Nice work on it!  :)
