A Winter's Day

December 26, 2012
By Anonymous

As I sit here on a winter’s day;
I stare out at the sky of gray

I watch the snowflakes gently fall;
each one so delicate and so small

They dance and float upon the air;
softly landing without a care

The trees are swaying to and fro;
casting shadows upon the snow

Icy pictures on the window pane;
outside the wind begins to wane

As I watch this beautiful sight;
daylight slowly turns to night

Memories of childhood begin to form;
while I sit here keeping warm

I love how visionary this poem is.  Nice work!  :)
