Was it was love?
December 25, 2012
I did hold him once in my heart, I think.
He was the pinnacle of my universe
once he was the writing pen to my ink;
once, the poem to my verse.
Was it me or was it him,
that broke our idolatrous affair?
For some reason, my love did dim,
but still, I did despair.
I suppose that we were more an affiliation;
not love but a fervent worship.
Just an optimistic idea of my own creation.
Despite that, I held on with a steadfast grip.
I'm not sad that I'm alone now, it's true
but sometimes i miss you, i do
