They say a pictures worth a thousand words
How about a picture of me and you
How the thought of losing you is so absurd
or how your favorite cheese was danish blue
How your lively eyes reminded me of snow
And your smile could make rough days turn around
Think back to harsh winds making your blond hair blow
Or how your sweet love seemed to keep me bound
But boy what happens when that picture breaks
Or when your eyes no longer seem to mesmerize
You constantly make the same dumb mistakes
Or when those lips I once kissed just tell lies
So while the word "us" still means you and I
Hold tight , it'll die in the blink of an eye

Let the eyes judge what the mind cannot
Let the eyes believe what the mind failed to"

Great sonnet, I enjoyed reading it too.
