You broke my heart in two
Along shattering my hopes and dreams.
My anger at you starts to brew,
But my tears come down in streams.
I loved you more than you could know.
From the time I first met you, you were the one.
You were on top and everyone else below,
But then you broke my heart and said we were done.
I never stopped loving you.
My feelings still run deep,
But I had to bid you adieu.
Not a day goes by that I don't lose sleep.
When I see you on the street I'll wave,
But I just want you to think I'm brave.
