Remember me as beautiful
that's what I've always wanted to be.
Remember me as wishful
because I always had a dream...
Remember me as innocent,
for I have never been in love.
My heart has been so distant,
no one could walk far enough...
Remember me as a happy soul,
a little glow of light,
I will be the special glow,
I'll be the stars of night.
Remember my death as new life,
and the rest as gone,
remember me as alive,
and keep pressing on.

The author's comments:
This poem of mine was inspired by a dream I had had. My mother and father were crying because I was dead. I was a ghost, standing in the church at my funeral. And, I didn't want them to cry because I was gone but smile because I was there. So, I wrote this poem just in case I were to die because life is unexpected and this is the words I would like to say after I am gone.
