I saw the poet come with guns loaded,
His army was equipped and set to go.
The man fired ammunition...coded,
The militia didn't know friend from foe.

He said, "Lovers and fighters...no diff'rence,
Love is a mask we put on to ignore,
The anger and madness is our defense."
The words he said really cut to the core.

Then one lucky fellow stood up and said,
"You are cynical and the world is small,
I don't know what's going on in your head,
Sometimes...you are not as tall all in all."

The lesson here kids is to be aware,
To always be kind and always be fair.

What inspired me to write this was concerts. I love music and I love going to concerts because their music is like poetry. Whenever a singer breaths in between songs, they always say something inspirational. In this case, the singer is going in between the set and the singer is speaking nonsense and somebody stands up for what they believe in.
