looking up
just hoping to figure out
what we were all about
just that one clue
to get me back to you
i stare and i wish to see a clue
but i stare and see nothing
not even you
not a hint
not a clue
so how in the world
will i get back to you
i guess
i hope
i wish
that the day will come
and i will look up
and see the clue
that will lead me back to you.
