First Days of Spring
A flowers gorgeous bloom, a sign of new life
To signify this spring is finally here
Animals finally stop their long strife
Against the bitter cold, which is now clear

Frozen over rivers flow once again
The sun makes its glorious appearance
The season of brand new life the begin
All the rain jackets and boots on clearance

Winter might have snowmen and holiday story time
Autumn has changing leaves and school starting
And summer has pool fun as temperatures climb
But spring is when our Earths beauty comes true

One of the little pleasures I take in life
Is watching spring bloom before my own eyes
