Her Curtain Call

November 29, 2011
Allison glides across the well-lit stage.
Her light pink slippers barely touch the floor.
Her dance tells a story without a page.
She ends with a bow, and triggers uproar.

As she heads backstage, her character dies.
She is now the person she does not know.
She tries to hold back tears, but still she cries.
Her real personality must now show.

There is no script now, no steps to rehearse.
She's dazed and confused about who she is.
She must now suffer the character curse.
Her life is controled by fame, and show biz.

She knows she's a dancer, but that is all.
Her life will end with her last curtain call.
