Time Flys

Time flies quickly from one minute to the next,
When you are enjoying yourself this day.
Time ticks by when you are waiting for a text.
And time flies when you are eating a sundae.
Time slows down when you are waiting, waiting
For the hour to go to the movie.
Every minute that passes, you are aging,
And as I write now, time is a-waisting.
Time is something that we worship daily.
Always wanting more time that we can spend.
Just skimming by on what we have mostly,
But not always doing what we intend.
Tick, tock, tick, tock, Time is now running by.
Now I am done so I will say goodbye.
