Mr. Frost

You freeze others to the point of fear
Yet you comfort me with your icy grip
People do shudder at the thought of you here
But I enjoy your playful freezing nip.
Citizens glower at the thought of you
I smile at the promises you bring
The people, they quiver at what you do
I encourage you to let your snow sing.
They will bundle their ears against it
But I will cheer it on for it to scream
Inside them, a spark ignites, a flame lit
And to them you’re not as bad as you seem

And now my friend you have become famous,
Now to me your good fortune is heinous.
