Favorite Quote:
"Je pense donc, je suis."

To lay alone all hot and dreary
Make me happy to be existing here
Be cautious though, do not be weary
To explore and learn and lear

No need to wear the shoes of another
Let the blood viscerally drip
Let not images of mother
Come and disturb your grip

Forgiveness- bah- it’s oh so real
Make the heart beat and stop and start
Oh nothing to at least feel
Thrown like a dart

An epitome of religion
Wings to stop a pigeon.

The author's comments:
Though in a sonnet form, normally a poem of love, I have juxtaposed the love for religion and the love for another being together, whilst lightly questioning what is religion and how it can be the act of impersonating another.
