When my days are gray and my life is sad,
When it feels as though I can take no more,
I can no longer tell the good from the bad,
And I often forget what I live for,
Although you’re still here I can’t help but cry,
Every minute, every day, I miss you,
It’s hard to keep up what we have, though I try,
It’s hard to lose you after all we’ve been through
Yet, when I remember the times we shared,
It fills the darkness with color and light,
Though the separation is hard to bear,
Your memory keeps out an eternal night,
I love you even when I can’t see you,
For mature love is forever and true.
