Was a day that the blackbirds flew from the bell
Signaling what every peasant knew well
The day when the riegn of the crown would end
And the kingdom descend into hell
A madness would take over man and beast
And upon the earth they start to feast
The dew of grass, the bark of trees
The greatest and the least
The weak will become like cattle
And the strong, their sabers rattle
For man or beast to take what's left
They'll fight a losing battle
And after all the fighting's done,
I'll go rule over everyone!
