Wherefore doth my heart beat palpitations
When your presence draws so close upon me?
It is because by fate’s inclinations,
My love is stronger than Poseidon’s seas.
Your ivory skin, so supple and so white
Makes the humours of my mind go insane
My eyes, they crave to see you in my sight,
This lover’s thoughts have never been in vain.
This encounter of amorous nature
Is one of purest reciprocity
And you, my angel of highest stature
N’er had a trace of animosity
This is to you, my angel so divine
My Goddess and my true love for all time
