Remember the days when we were
little?/
We looked forward to the holidays in school./
And the holidays felt like festivals?/
Little trinkets and candy were so cool?/
The teachers did no teaching, we admit./
Then the school day finally came to end./
My mom said "Show me the fun things you did."/
I'd show her the stuff i got from my friends./
We picked dandelions for our mommies,/
Begged and pleaded to stay awake longer,/
And played with Furbys and little dollies./
Then I got older, taller and stronger./
I'm no longer the kid I used to be,/
And all I'm left with are the memories./
