Favorite Quote:
"Government is the shadow cast on Society by Big Business"

The City tells a lie,
Something of misfortune,
Something doomed to die,
Something of a commune.
From the painful misery,
From the Franco-Prussian War,
Come the flags of liberty,
Without the common gore.
A new life to witness,
But the rest did not come along,
Too safe or too scared they were to confess,
It seems the same old song.
But come forth and stand upon the altar,
Yet we yet again falter.

I never wrote a sonnet before.... what better place to start than something close to my heart, social change?
