Rain touching my face as it descend
as the rain falls it tells me a story of one who has died
the rain thinks very highly of this man
since he can do things that no one of pure heart can
one you lay beside this man of pure heart you will be changed
he will change you in a way no one can foretell
he told me that my own life will ascend
but I believe that man had lied
for I can never ascend but only descend
after that day my life was rearranged
now I believe that man was telling the no lie
but it was sad that he has to die
as blood drips from the blade
he watches me as though I am a shade
he remembers that it was I who was his friend
now he knows he never should of have befriended
as he falls to the ground he smiles at me
and he says I can never hate you for this
and I will always smile now you can finally see
