Why do I care,
when all it causes me is pain.
Why do I grin and bare,
when all it ever does is rain.
Why do I feel,
if I only ever cry.
Why can't I heal,
if I always try.
Why do I fake a smile,
when I'm really dying inside.
Why do I try and go the extra mile,
if no one will ever let me decide.
But in truth I will always be there,
So everyone will know I'm always there.

wow. soo strong and really powerful with all the emotion. i like "why do i grin and bare, when all it ever does is rain." i feel like that sometimes :) great poem!! it's one of the best :) would you mind commenting on some of my newer work?
