The players sprint gallantly up and down the court
Defending one another like soldiers do their fort
The players shoot and slide across the floor
Getting basket after basket aiming to score more
The players spin and pass around the arena
Creating a fan-like roar as loud as Hurricane Katrina

The author's comments:
This poem represents the game of basketball and all the characteristics that are apart of it. This game has gotten more fast-paced and physical over the years. This sport is not exactly one for the faint of heart!
