A cat once sat upon a roof,
days and days she pondered,
looking for a simple truth
Why the days have been so squandered

She sat serenely, whiskers unmoving,
looking below as the world went on
But the world had no desire turning
so the day was soon too gone

The cat held its seat,
didn't eat nor drink,
till death did it meat,
as one would come to think.

A cat once sat upon a roof
with 8 lives left
she didn't want to spend her youth,
so she moved in all her deft

To live in the future or in the past
a cat cannot spare
for she knows when comes life last
she must live for the air....
