The majestic, our past and present home./ No more, the sense of security was over now./ The giant sea was everyone's new tomb./ The feeling of safeness was very low./

The ship rocked one way, and then the other./ The orchestra played a non-ending song./ Families made me wish for my mother./ He took my hand; I knew our love was wrong./

We pushed past others running to the deck./ Small boats were loading children and mothers./ Not enough boats, I didn't have to check./ Women were holding on to their lovers./

I looked into the eyes of my true love./ We'd meet againg in the heavens above./


The author's comments:
The movie The Titanic inspired my sonnet. The next day I started writting about it. Leonardo De Caprio is one of my favorite actors.
