A good friend will be there
When you need them most
They will listen to you
Even when you brag and boast
They are they when you need to talk
When you need someone to understand
They know when you need them
And they'll offer their hand
They will let you talk
And make you listen
They always seem to know
When you miss them
They will give you a shoulder
When you need to cry
They will lift you so high
You'll touch they sky
A good friend will be there
I hope for me
A good friend for you
I hope I will be
