Screaming

January 22, 2010
By Anonymous

I hear you screaming througth the wall
I hear your footsteps down the hall
I cover my ears
Trying to tune you out
But it seems no quiet can be found
I lay awake in my bed trying not to think
I'm being pushed to far
I know I'm on the brink
I can't listen to you fight without crying
All your screaming makes me feel like dying

I was inspired to write this when I woke up in the middle of the night to my parents fighting.
