Shakespeare is a very famous poet.
His talented ideas were passed his time.
All his peers and patrons didn't know it.
His plays were seen for no more than a dime.
Even though they contained love and loss,
They didn't see his fame until his demise.
And then that day came no one saw the cost
Until later with his works on the rise.
Now William Shakespeare is a household name,
He's known around the world as the very best.
I'm sure his detractors feel that cruel shame.
Will his works live forever? What a test!
Shakespeare is my all-time favourite guy,
I'd give anything to meet him- no lie!
