I drove past your new street,

I wanted a cold shower,

Ate some cheese and a baguette,

Even when you say that I’m fat,

There’s something I won’t regret,

It is the monotone,

To finally do things on my own.

Since you are gone,

I can finally open my eyes,

Without having to apologize.

The world is in a war,

Please close the door,

I want the silence of being alone,

Enjoy time on my own,

I wonder if I’ll ever let you come,

To where we used to call “home”.
