In a world of beautiful people
I am judged as I walk through the hall
I can't fly through the eye of a needle
Called psychopath, weirdo, oddball.
A box full of expectations, I get
My parents, siblings, and teachers alike,
"Will he succeed or fail? Please. take your bet!"
Too bad I can't tell them to take a hike.
It's MY LIFE, why does everyone care?
Not everything is about money!
Everyone says that life isn't fair,
All I'm trying to do is be happy.
I am throwing away my box today;
And the ones that want to be here will stay.

This sonnet was a very releasing thing for me to write, I am a senior in high school and am definitely feeling the heat and the people around me aren't happy for me because I'm succeeding as much as they are that I am going to be making the Big Bucks and I am standing up for myself from this day forward.
