It's been some long months since I've talked to a dear friend

Even though I see her everyday, we act like there's nothin' left to say

I'll always wonder if we'll talk again my dear friend

But as of right now, it doesn't seem that way

Out of all the friends we share

I wonder which ones knew of the stories we wrote

And all the great memories we have left to unfold

It's funny how we said we'll be there for each other

But it feels like two forces rejecting one another

I thought we both knew what it's like to feel alone

You became my back and bone too bad it's dead and gone

However it seems like we're both prideful to care

Being long ways away from home

I don't know how many times I can apologize and mean every single word

Just so I can at least hear you say "I'm sorry"

Cause I'm trying to make my way back to safe haven

So just take my hand and lets head back to where it all began

Life's too short to be filled with grudges and hatred 

Besides, all the best memories I've ever had were the ones you ever gave me
