Deep in the Vale
A song does ring
Of Lovers long gone
And of Warrior Kings
A smile back then
Meant so much more
Than the vows we now make
By eternity’s door
A sweet young lass
Barely sixteen
Found her true lover’s form
In the guise of a dream
A girl from London’s
Ancient new streets
The key to her heart
On a Trolley she’d meet….
Deep in the Vale
A song does ring
Of Lover’s long gone
And of Warrior Kings
I dream that someday
I surely will find
A Warrior of Stone
To hold and call mine
