Crutch
Take it away. Please take it away.
I don’t want to feel anymore.
Letting it go. Letting it fall.
So quiet you hear, as it hits the floor

Taken away, but i need it to stay
Living without it, it seems so unreal
Throw it away, giving it up
It seems so cold, now that I can feel

Hate when its gone, hate when its here
Never knew, I could feel this way
now its not here, out of my reach
can’t use it to help, get rid of this gray

withdraw in myself, push you away
yell to nothing, scream to no one
anger builds, when it isn’t near
so numb I can’t feel the warmth of the sun

things are alright, they’ll be ok
I don’t need it now, bury it here
 Give it away, never again
Nothing to hide, nothing to fear

This is excellent writing. I don't know if you've ever read A Tale of Two Cities, but this somewhat reminds me of the characterization of Dr. Manette after his traumatic experience.
I admire this piece and keep up the good work! The imagery is phenomenal and done well, and I love the descriptions. =)
