Painted smiles on painted faces
Witness my rise to grace
Hallow words fill up the spaces,
the emptiness inside
Wary eyes on wary faces,
fill (up)the audience's spaces
they sense the end is near

I knock on the door for my cold embrace
In the dark I think I see your face,
