A Wedge

Broken promises,
that's all I get,
filling up the glasses,
with much regret.

I'm glad you've moved on,
to someone new,
cause baby I'm gone,
and there's nothing you can do.

I'm flying past the limit,
walking on the edge,
so much for commitment,
all you were was just a wedge.

You tore apart my confidence,
until I was on my knees,
killed all my happiness,
until I was begging please.

But we're done now.
You've got yourself to blame,
so when they ask you how,
just scream your name.

I'm flying past the limit,
walking on the edge,
so much for commitment,
all you're ever be is a wedge.

I feel bad for the next girl,
who you'll rob blind,
just the thought makes me hurl,
and I want you from my mind.

Cause I'm,
flying past the limit,
yeah, I'm,
walking on the wedge,
so much for commitment,
cause all you'll ever be,
yeah,
all you'll ever be,
a wedge.
