Footage Not Found

Today I mistook the clear sky for grey
I guess it said a great deal for my mind state
I remember the days before I knew your name
When you would smile and I would complain
And now three years later not much has changed
I’m still feeling down and there’s no one to blame

I finally understood what you meant
When you told me that there’s nothing left
When everything is not what it seems
And life gets in the way of your dreams

Today I mistook the rain for a sign
That life never gets better, it only gets bittersweet
For all the nights when I’d call and hang up
There’s at least one girl who’s had enough
The Pacific never looked this good in the movies
I’m standing still while the world keeps on moving

I finally understood what you meant
When you told me that there’s nothing left
When everything is not what it seems
And life gets in the way of your dreams

I finally understood what you meant
When you told me that there’s nothing left
When everything is not what it seems
And life gets in the way of your dreams

Don’t know why I keep looking out the window
Cause there’s nothing for me out there
Don’t know why I kept all of your letters
There’s nothing left of you here
