He disappeared for just eighteen long days.
Despite her agony, her heart still remains.
Gone is his soul, reaching out from her heart.
Angels sing low, the suffering will start.

He’s gone, he’s gone.
The outlines were drawn.
She yearns to move on.
To stop singing this song.

It’s been overly long.
And the feeling’s too strong.
He’s gone, he’s gone.
And he’s never coming back.

She starts to love again.
And just as it feels right,
she begins to diminish
her love this time.

It doesn’t appear perfect.
Yet, perfect’s just a word.
She aims for the best.
But ends up with the worst.

He’s gone, he’s gone.
The outlines were drawn.
She yearns to move on.
To stop singing this song.

It’s been overly long.
And the feeling’s too strong.
He’s gone, he’s gone.
And he’s never coming back to her.

When will she learn?
The tables have turned.
Her family has yearned.
She needs to return.

To herself, minus him.
A challenge she cannot win.
She needs to understand,
understand, understand.

That he’s gone, he’s gone.
The outlines were drawn.
She yearns to move on.
To stop singing this song.

It’s been overly long.
And the feeling’s too strong.
He’s gone, he’s gone.
And he’s never coming back.

Yeah, he’s gone for now.
He’s gone forever.
Gone from her heart.
He’s gone altogether.

She needs to realize that he's gone, and that she needs to live her life, regardless.
