I don't get why everything is so hard,

I don't know why I keep putting up my guard,

If only I knew why I feel this way,

If only I could take back each word I did say,

If only life was something so full of joy,

If only you didn't play with me like a helpless toy,

If the world didn't seem so hurtful and mean,

Than I don't think I would be a normal teen.
