WHEN WE WERE YOUNG

I miss those days,
Back when we were young.
When there were so many ways
For us to have fun.
But now we’ve grown up,
We’ve grown closer, apart.
Sometimes I just say yup
To hide my broken heart.
We don’t spend time together anymore,
And the time spent together is so poor.
I miss being the little sister
That wouldn’t leave you and your friends alone.
But now I don’t even see your friends,
Only talk to them on the phone.
I miss when we were little and hung every day.
I miss when we played and fought the day away.
Josh, I really miss you, my big brother, a lot.
We need to find that sibling relationship that today it is not.
