In the end, We are all lines drawn on a chalkboard only to be washed away

Let me take a moment, explain this story to you
It was two young kids, with love in their hearts
It was like cupid has a machine gun, pelting them with darts
Cuz they spent every d*** minute, of every d*** day
Wasting their breath to be with eachother some g****** way
It was going great, those two lovers lifes
Till their hearts started tearing, torn by the lies
It was a constant struggle, an uphill war
And many a time they screamed and slammed the doors
Though throughout all the pain, their hearts stood true
And together they rose, like their love was anew
They stood together like a fire, in a thunderstorm
This love was something special, it was nothing of the norm
But its true what they say, all good things come to an end
And end is exactly just what it did.
Now the lovers tried to be friends, it turned even worse
It made him hate the world, like some evil old curse
looking back at it now, he knows he made mistakes
little did he know her picture would bring tears to his face
he was such an idiot, with a perfect girl for him
yet the fire that was ablaze, is all but dimmed
He shoulda known better , shoulda been more wise
Then he coulda saved his love’s demise
He was blinded by emotions, but how couldn’t he see
It was the curtains coming down, closing on me.

"The past can't see you but the future is listening"- T.G.

very informing i must say... this reminds me of my relationship now it did end for a day and it was out of anger we talked and explained what we must do to work out and needless to say we are better now... but this poem brings back memories of what was almost over
