You Should Know Where I Am

I question your sanity tonight
As you fight instead of flight,
Choose to lose, and
Run from a dream's sight.
It seems like death's the only option;
You're in no position to observe
The inflicted pain of your words.

So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.
There's too much pain, too much blood,
Too much sorrow, and not enough love.
So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.

I hate that you're beautiful in death,
A weathered rose between the pages of a book,
And it hurts to take a look,
At what I've become, the roots of history
Engraved within my face. But
Time is nothing but a race, and
You were destined to lose.

So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.
There's too much hate, too much sorrow,
Too much hardship for me to borrow.
So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.

I think I'll miss you, try and find you, and
Wish I still had you, but I know now,
You're no one I can rely on.

It's the end of the world tonight dear,
And you're nowhere near.
I'm crying your name, but it's all the same,
You're flying high, playing your games
Saying you can't hear.
But that's not true dear, I know where you are
And it's not so far.

So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.
There's too much pain, too much blood,
Too much sorrow, and not enough love.
So stay and die, I can't lie,
You're no one I can rely on.

So stay and die,
You're no one,
No one I can rely on.

This is about the realization that the person you thought you loved isn't actually good for you, and the other factors of the "getting over you" stage of a break up.
