Its consuming and cold.
Like I’ll never be happy again
Tired of doing what I’m are told
Cuz I thought we were friends
No one said this would be easy

I guess I was wrong
Im trying to be strong
Its hard to be on the outside
Its so much easier to go with the tide
No one said this would be easy

Maybe im just not as loud
But I don’t want to follow the crowd
Im still a person
So this is it I am done
No one said this would be easy
But I’m leaving.

I wrote this when I was going through a time that some of the people closest to me stopped listening to my opinions. No words can possibly describe the feeling of people not caring about what you have to say so once I lost my voice within my circle of friends I understood that it was time to move forward and find new friends.
