I am a wave.
I reach my crest
a point of absolute happiness
and then I break
I’m irritated, I’m depressed, I’m stressed
each time, though, I am able to recollect
able to feel content,
but only for the moment.
Then something miraculous happens,
the tide pulls me together
and everything is perfect.
No worries, no fears, no doubts
Once again, I’ve reached my crest.
my life is a cycle
my moods, my emotions, my feelings
are constantly changing;
I reach my crest
I break
I recollect
and repeat
again and again
