I want to hug you
Say goodbye
Maybe even cry
But I’ve always been to shy for that
Too unsentimental
I really am sad that this is over
I really wish we had more time
So maybe I’ll come back next week
Same place, same time
And wait around like a madwoman
Even though I know in the back of my head
You aren’t coming
So just remember
I’ll be waiting
